Health Reform (Employer Action Overview)

The IRS announces that the contribution limit for an individual would increase by $50 in 2012, from $3,050 to $3,100. The family contribution limit is increasing from $6,150 to $6,250 (+$100).

The Early Retiree Reinsurance Program will end April 30th 2011. CMS will no longer accept new applicants after that time. $5 Billion was set aside in the Affordable Care Act (section 1102) and the money has been exausted. Initial thoughts were that funding was to run until 2014.
